I am not going to bring up old stuff, (but you just brought it up. so you wont answer my question? you know how that looks on your part, right? you accused me so you should be ready to provide an answer)  and kk if you want to consider yourself mid functioning that is fine (diagnosed mid functioning) but being able to stay employed and maintain a marriage is high functioning behavior in my opinion (yes doctor, im married to another person with autism, and my job is holding a sign by the highway for a store, although there are many people with many degrees of autism who do many things, and your assumption of what people with certain "levels" of autism can and cant do says more about you and society than it does about me, and other autistic people.)

It's like being forced to feel what they are feeling, similarly to how listening to music can change how someone behaves. It's why strategies like 'Appeal to Emotion' work, where one's tone and body language end up pushing the subject matter better than logic. 

It makes it very difficult to deal with other people going through powerful emotions, as I have to feel it to some degree by being around them. It's great for noticing subtle cues that aren't otherwise in the message itself, but it can suck people in.

Wouldn't you need a good grasp on how people work to know if I am or am not good with it? Also empathy isn't really translatable over the internet through text, while sympathy can flourish like crazy. 

I actually do have a decent grasp on how people function within the typical ranges, but websites like this specifically cater towards the abnormal, meaning the expected case here is going to be that much more complicated to work with. The typical person otherwise conforms to enough convention that if you learn their song and dance you can blend in pretty easily, which is why I find those outside of that more interesting. 

Overall, just because people may disagree with the conclusions being made does not otherwise mean it is inaccurate; The two are mutually exclusive and often divergent. I am not here to have people see me as friendly by saying what they want to hear so that I can coerce them towards some kind of agenda, I'd rather see how they respond to someone without that, how they'll respond to the information itself. 

When challenged, people can end up revealing a lot of things. 

the only solution is no more neurotypicals, if neurotypicals are the problem, and they treat us badly, maybe its time for someone else to have a chance. maybe a world ran by autism would be better than this horrible bs we have seen all this time.

Autistic people need to find ways of becoming rich then, like Elon Musk.

They aren't, that's just you struggling that much with neurotypicality. For others, when outside of a typical range, people have to look harder for consistency patterns in their behavior rather than being able to lean towards convention. This is why they have tried to make sense of it by giving the patterns DSM labels; attempting to find what is typical within atypical behaviors. 

I also haven't been given the impression that you really understand people here beyond the room to parrot what they've said. A lot of subtext kinda breezes by you and lends to you responding to their posts... strangely. 

People are not literal beings, there's a lot behind why they say the things they do, and without that blueprint all you have are the words.
