I am by comparison annoyingly sensitive to empathetic cues, and find myself trying at points to tune it out. My sympathy at points has run out while their feelings continue to seep into my brain.
i do not understand any of that
It's like being forced to feel what they are feeling, similarly to how listening to music can change how someone behaves. It's why strategies like 'Appeal to Emotion' work, where one's tone and body language end up pushing the subject matter better than logic.
It makes it very difficult to deal with other people going through powerful emotions, as I have to feel it to some degree by being around them. It's great for noticing subtle cues that aren't otherwise in the message itself, but it can suck people in.
then why do you understand people so little? you understand them less than me, and my understanding is shit so thats really saying something.
Wouldn't you need a good grasp on how people work to know if I am or am not good with it?
(i have enougn grasp to know you dont understand a lot of people here, and i know you dont understand me, and im a person, yet you think you do. if you dont understand that as well as you think, what else dont you get?
I actually do have a decent grasp on how people function within the typical ranges, but websites like this specifically cater towards the abnormal, meaning the expected case here is going to be that much more complicated to work with. The typical person otherwise conforms to enough convention that if you learn their song and dance you can blend in pretty easily, which is why I find those outside of that more interesting.
(song and dance is stupid. almost feels like the people are not real just robots
Overall, just because people may disagree with the conclusions being made does not otherwise mean it is inaccurate; The two are mutually exclusive and often divergent. I am not here to have people see me as friendly by saying what they want to hear so that I can coerce them towards some kind of agenda, I'd rather see how they respond to someone without that, how they'll respond to the information itself.
When challenged, people can end up revealing a lot of things.
(or so you think.
the only solution is no more neurotypicals, if neurotypicals are the problem, and they treat us badly, maybe its time for someone else to have a chance. maybe a world ran by autism would be better than this horrible bs we have seen all this time.
Autistic people need to find ways of becoming rich then, like Elon Musk.
no matter how much money we make they will always see us as "different" because there are less of us and more of them.
You are different though, ( i am not different, nor my brother, everyone else is different.) that's not technically wrong. If you had enough money and success there'd be no reason for people to think they need to do experiments on you. ( i dont want to waste my life making money to impress these idiots, i care about having a nice life with my brother and not wasting away for extra resources i dont actually need and sacrificing what i really give a fuck about)
I get that, my disorders are demonized by the media pretty hard too. Seriously, mine's synonymous with axe murders and weird shit.
see what i mean? fucking neurotypicals. lets live in a world without them, they want one without US so why the fuck not? imagine it for a second. when the daydream fades and your trapped back in this reality, its fucking sad.
What sort of society would form from that though? What would become the means of enforcing cooperation once you've removed the typical template from the model? (i dont know, the same way neurotypicals do i guess. im not saying i expect this to form, i know its unrealistic, i just wish it did, and some of it is a parody of neurotypicals and how they talk about autistic people.)
I see neurotypical behavior as fairly efficient, which is likely how it has proliferated this far.
(disagree i disagree, it is not efficient it hurts us and even they confuse eachother with it, no one wins
they act like we are some mystery to solve, meawhile the literally electrocute us
