I only stayed in Paris the one night. Took a train to southern France yesterday. Tomorrow I start hiking the Pyrenees and begin my walk into Spain. I’m nervous af.  My pack feels too heavy, and the mountain looks too steep lol. But considering thousands have done this before I know it’s doable but it’s going to be a challenge. I may post some pics if I can. I know other peoples travels can be boring- sorry in advance lol

Do you have  a guide or something? Being a girl and doing all that alone, specially hiking does have a risk. Have fun. I also had this recurrent dream to visit Morocco, by myself, so I kinda understand what you are doingm

No guide but it’s literally an ancient trail so pretty well marked, even if you get lost you can find your way out. There’s lots of Alburques to stay in on the way and many fellow pilgrims so people look out for one another. My sister is also tracking my phone lol, which kinda pisses me off. I’d love to go to Morocco too! That one I wouldn’t probably do alone.  If you wanna talk travels someday just dm. :)

Do you have a destination in mind, or are you winging it along the way?

I would've advised against going to Paris, it's become a cesspool of refugees that hate westerners. Don't know how it is now, maybe no more curfews and armed guards all over the place. Becareful.

Lmao Tony. Paris seemed pretty chill, more friendly than the first time I came here, not as diverse as TO

Well okay, I was going by research and I know a guy that went there for Formula 1, And he said the place was sucking. That was before the pandemic.

Sounds like you're preparing to cross a country on foot.

SQUEE!!

I've always wanted to fall in love in Paris and eat groovy cheese while I dance with an awesome street busker  <3

LOOOVE the French.

Is it just me? Or does every movie, every yt channel that shows French people doing French things capture a tres stylish truth about them? They are SO good at making ordinary things timelessly beautiful.

Or is it just bc the movies and vids I'm watching are carefully staged to show their best side?

Note: Urban Exploration vids are also part of my French Collections, btw. They're not staged, but those old places may have been carefully chosen by my favourite explorers bc the bando was unusually beautiful under the rot and vegetation regrowth.

I SOOO want to be in a scene from a Van Gogh  <3  <3  You are living my dream.

Soooo jelly lol

I hiked through the Pyrenees and crossed into Spain. It’s been beautiful but tough. So far I’ve hiked 151 KMs. Just got bad news from home so not sure what’s next for me.  I decided to keep walking for now at least for today.
