it is different, if your job requires you to be fit to do your job sufficiently then yes obviously you should have to be fit as a prerequisite but does a chef need to be fit to do his job sufficiently ? does a teacher who is an expert in his field on a subject ? No, no they do not
and he should not have ever been hired on to that specific position if doing push up was a prerequisite, not be hired on and then shamed later that was employer negligence also plenty of obese body guards would not care, or would be more than happy to slam the "shamer" into the ground to prove his strength and his sufficiency at his job ;pThe guy was massive, and while he wasn't able to do a pushup, that doesn't mean he was applying less force than some other dude doing pushups. Maybe he was applying more force, and it wasn't enough.
Fat men are very tanky and stupid strong from hauling their own weight. While he couldn't do any pushups, that doesn't mean he can't knock someone on their ass or restrain some mischievous punk.
