At that point you're a hostage with someone behind you actively forcing your hand, you wouldn't need to think of how to get away with it so much as how to get away from the person threatening you.
If I got away with it, in theory it would help getting away from the person threatening me too.
If your first thought in that hypothetical is to shoot children, that's kind of atypical.

I would contact police as soon as there was an opening, and I highly doubt if it came down to it that I could shoot a person, let alone a child.
