Whatever the left does in response to this will set a strong tone for future moves like this.
If no one does anything about it, it will stand to have more be done. If it leads to further infighting between parties then all their energy will simply be spent there while nothing gets to where it needs to go. As groups become further splintered, everyone feels more alone and in need of numbers, but those numbers keep turning towards civil disputes rather than bigger moves.
The left would need to organize something big to fix this, and... people seem to prefer to fight their peers rather than big government.
Fix what? nothing happened to abortion rights in Lefty States. All that happened is that the democratic process was returned back to the States where it belongs
Republicans already tried to make it so medicaid wouldn't pay for plan b or IUDs because they're abortifacients. Some are tryna ban contraceptives altogether.
You're missing the point. The power was returned to the people to use the democratic process to make their own local laws.
You're missing the point just like you don't like people telling you what to put in your body and what to do with your guns, women also don't like to be told what to do with their bodies.

the problem is, abortion is two bodies, one does not have a voice and is being killed.
selfish to think it's only about your body.
Because it's is my body, the fetus at that point is a parasite until it is birthed and then is able to survive on its own (albeit with some parental help)
For people that claim to be pro-life and pro-family they sure don't seem to give a fuck about the medical debt most people get into when they do choose to have children. They don't seem to care about the fact that child/day care is so fuckin expensive that most people cannot afford it. That out of all the developed countries the US gives the least in maternal and paternal leave and benefits. Most women are working just until they give birth as to not waste any maternity leave.
They don't seem to care about the fact that there are literal families in debt from school lunches or that children are being killed in schools and that the easiest thing to fix that is to ban guns or at the very least make them very hard to buy/access.
The fact that the women that do keep their children and are single are looked down upon for using welfare programs or benefits by these same people is astonishing. They don't care about the kid once it's been born, they care only about forcing the woman to carry to term and nothing more.
