Ew,  rewarding depression with food is the worst way to possibly handle depression

 

Instead look inwards,  comfort the parts of you that are depressed,  welcome them,  acknowledge them,  treat them with compassion,  and listen to what your emotions are telling you and then find a solution on how to make things better  absolutely do not distract with food and nother short-term numbing "bandaid" fixes especially not long-term because it does not resolve anything

 

rewarding depression is toxic,  and so is avoiding what your emotions are telling you and not processing them in a healthy compassionate welcoming way
