the problem is more than twice now you're basically going like this: "look guys, this is their plan and they're doing it." but on both instances under scrutiny, it wasn't a doctrine any communists or socialists were following, it was something written up by their opposition to provoke fears of a plan in action. it's easy to do that, and you can do that for the other side too as i tried to point out in my last post.
i know the tone with my last posts in the thread came off as condescending; it's out of annoyance with how often i see this sort of thing happen and then the sort of "you can't prove it!" fallback. if you cite credible stuff then i'd have no argument, but if you don't it calls into question how willing you are to push a narrative in an ends vs means way...it also calls into question how credible some of the other stuff like the covid posts are. but i wouldn't bother with those because i lack sufficient background to be judging their scientific validity

might be something to this. i think "woke" culture is highly volatile...it's also probably the most paradigm-shifting thing the west (particularly the US) is exporting. we're still in the process of figuring things out, now that this path seems to be set.
i think more importantly, wokeness has been part of the continuum of cultural evolution here. contrast what it's been doing here to what it could do in places like china, and how much social and political disruption it could cause. it's no coincidence that china's recent cultural revolution went into effect the same time woke culture started creeping in. lately the chinese have been cracking down on kpop fandom. chinese even have a word for white liberals, "baizuo." i know if i was working for the cia, i would be infiltrating the chinese web and sewing seeds of woke. even if woke culture didn't start out as a weapon, it is one now
wokeness's usefulness as a tool for social upheaval aside, i'm not entirely convinced it leads to total emasculation. i think it has been doing that, and we see things like pc culture engendering an environment of everyone having to be nice, which in a perverse way is catering to the weak. it also seems to have the side-effect of turning men into placaters instead of standard-setters as they're indoctrinated into this system. but i think there is growing discontent with this level of self-censorship that will lead to a pushing against it and then some balance. time will tell

I think the backlash is starting. More people are refusing to repent for their evil misdeeds of not toying the PC line and stating facts the overly sensitive can't handle hearing. The whole: "I'm sorry for XX. I will take some time to step away and grow and learn," schtick is so lame and become a cliche. 'Wokeness' (and whatever has replaced the former vernacular) is a new religion that requires more cognitive dissonance than Christianity. Jesus Christ.

I'll grant you that POTUS can't necessarily ban people from owning assault rifles (although no prez has tried, and I'm not a constitutional lawyer so idk if it's a can't or a can't be fucked with the legal challenges)... but he can ban their importation and generally make them very difficult to access.
My point is that if there was some kinda left-wing NWO conspiracy, why do things so slowly and by the book in the US? Why not go buckwild like Venezuela?
