yeah BZ cost 100 dollars a month to keep online. Sometimes I give up on it and take it offline, but then later I have a change of heart and decide to keep trying lol
By comparison this place has remained up fairly consistently.
This place is a lot simpler I think. It does not try to be an infinite number of boards like BZ does. This place does not operate in real time besides the chat. It's just a lot less server intensive.

you created something that has steadily been losing demand and already had huge competition with business owners that are willingly to put far more money and time into their business than you do; reddit
but its not just reddit, discord too, and social media
forums have suffered severely since discord blew up, most died. its the era of zoomers who want instant gratification
that you did not go into a small niche was your other mistake. bragging about how bz is for an infinite number of boards is pretty braindead. going with broach niches is for the big boys
