 I think it's cos people think you shouldn't have the right to suicide yourself. That only a mentally ill person would seek to do that and allowing anyone to have the blueprints is very irresponsible.

Gah. Jumping is painful and messy. And you run the risk of injuring or killing somebody else when you hit bottom.

Actually, the best way to do it for free is to sit in a parked car with the engine running, and block off the exhaust so the car fills with CO.

Freezing is also quite humane. The Inuit had it right. They let the weakest links wander off into the frozen wilderness alone to die. Burying oneself in the snow is just like going to sleep.

You could also find a friend who's handy with a sword, if aesthetics aren't a big concern. Beheading is supposed to be quick and painless. If I ever had to end a long and painful terminal illness, that's the death I would choose. So I can donate the rest to be used as tiger food at an abused exotic pet rescue place. Tigers love human meat.

Ew. Do they not get the point of suicide prevention? People with disabilities often feel sad about their lack of contribution to society. We should be encouraging them and telling them they have intrinsic value, not making it easier to them to kill themselves.

The whole assisted suicide thing reeks of exploitation.

Since when the fuck have you became Mr.Human rights? The 'old' cavalier would've rejoiced at these suicide pods being happy that more white people would kill themselves.
