There is a crucial point of ego for her to pivot on.
We're certainly an outlet for a writhing demon inside her. She is in a larval state, making her cocoon, having fits of transformation as she undergoes her metamorphosis.
Unfortunately, this process requires lots of energy, making her hangry, biting at all nearby sources of food or threat.

Personally, I think it's possible we might be taking the results of her excessive preaching for granted. The forum seems more lovey-dovey as of late. Matrix is cursing as usual, Med and CS getting along, Jim ain't around, You and Feathers. Everyone is chill. Even EL'anus though in the midst of her glory she's taking a small break for the sake of cooling off, She wanted to choke Emily.
Emily is kind of attacking Feathers but not really. She thinks she's doing her a favor in doing so. Feathers is without a doubt now the #2 Bible thumper in these parts.
Feathers hardly is a "Bible thumper". She's mostly been parrying and riposting.
