I found very good deals. It is not as expensive as you guys say. I used this website called check24 and I found 4 day stay in a 4 star hotel in Financial district for 700 Euros including the flights (round trip). 8 nights in a Hilton including flights would be 2k. Not bad at all.

Are there no SC people in NYC?
The financial district isn't a terrible option, but if you wanna stay in Manhattan you're probably better off basing yourself somewhere more central like Greenwich Village, Chelsea or Midtown.
If it's your first time in NYC then Manhattan is probably the only choice, but I personally prefer Brooklyn.
Also, tourists often underestimate how big NYC is. Purely speaking of Manhattan, it'll take you easily 30 minutes to get from Wall St to Carnegie Hall or Central Park.
