A lot of those relationships reach a breaking point and most likely turn abusive or at the very least condescending. If not into straight up double suicide.

Hmmm maybe that's why my boyfriend has been talking about a double suicide. Thankfully, I convinced him out of it. I want it because it's the only time I feel valued and loved... So yeah :/

Does he say it in a joking manner like  'haha babe would you to die with me after the war?  or a 'i love you so much i don't think i can live without you so we should suicide while we're young and pretty'? 

I want it because it's the only time I feel valued and loved... So yeah :/ 

It kinda sounds like you're confusing being valued and loved with being controlled and unable to trust yourself to make proper decisions. Likely mirroring the same relationship you might have had with your parents? 

Its a bit concerning, it can evolve into something else completely.
