Is it a sudden guilt for something you've done awhile back ? Did you come to another realization that has you God fearing once again ? Is it simply a series or sensations you give into ?

It’s not always present with all borderlines but yeah, my dad has the diagnosis and I’ve witnessed this behavior and when I went about learning about bpd it really helped me understand what was going on and I realized oh okay… that’s why my dad does that.
he does the same thing like oscillating between two extremes a lot. My mom described it as sometimes he is like Mother Theresa, and other times, he is like The Godfather.
