The Lena Chainsaw Massacre

Ouija: Origin of Lena

TO BE YET TOLD.
Not really a horror movie, but I watched Inland empire on weed and it freaked me out to the point I had to pause every 3 minutes..
Lynch makes solid material, but I agree I wouldn't put it under horror either.

Are horror movies really good? Never knew what people see in it. I watched Get Out in the cinema but it was very whack. Blair witch project was whack. I also watched another one on Netflix recently. Can't remember the name.. I don't really get frightened. Any recommendations?
I'll never understand why people want to be frightened.
You ever enjoy a roller coaster before?

I'm sure there's already a thread but I'm too lazy to look, pls post ur favorite horror movie so I can watch
Martyrs (2008) is probably my favorite horror, one of the few that have given me that "aw fuck" existential feeling. It's got a sort of twist at the end so I'd recommend not reading too much about it before you watch.
Disclaimer: It is in French, but you don't lose much by watching it subtitled.
I've seen it!! I liked it and it definitely had a dread atmosphere, the ending had me confused for a bit.

Damn I thought I was being esoteric lol. If you've seen that you're definitely better versed in horror than I am.
I loved the ending. Made we wonder whether she did it to embrace something better than life, or out of a nihilistic realization that it's just nothingness and therefore nothing matters.
I've also started watching Them (the TV series), it's a Jordan Peele rip-off but also spooky af.

I saw Martyrs while i was on a french kick, right after High Tension and just before Frontier(s) both great movies even if a bit obvious.
I had assumed she'd discovered there was another side and had promptly rushed to meet it though I suppose I could see nothingness being the answer now.
I'll take a look and see what this ripoff is about
