This is difficult at first but it becomes easier to do. It'll never be pleasant when we have to do it but it comes to a point where we won't seek any assistance on the matter.
If one takes issue with moving on from someone over an extended period of time, they don't acknowledge it's Infatuation.
Those who get over others easily would agree infatuatuon is like an illness when it's of no service to us. At that point we'll seek out a solution within ourselves and we'll find it. It's a matter of wanting to feel betted above our desire to reconnect, then we'll be able to gracefully accept a loss.
Failure to let go is the mark of lower intelligence. Take Med's Infatuation with Chapo for example, how she consistently wouldn't give up, which in turn contributed to her illness and attracting calamity into her life. Her absence from the forum is quite freaky. Perhapse now she's being cognitively worked on, and they minute she's free she'll offer Chapo a huge payday for a moment of peace with him. Epic script material for a dark tale.
I wrote about this in 2012, The Process of Self Transformation, where heartbreak is the opportunity to make a tough decision during that state of being, for better or worse.
Yes forgiveness works, because when we forgive it's for us, not them. Weight is then lifted. Revenge doesn't work as revenge comes from the weak who have diffuculty getting over something. Of course there are endless levels when it comes to revenge where even the most humble minds will give in, but by that point it becomes justice.
