I'm not sure where "in the eyes of God" divorces aren't real is to be found.
Among others, Catholics. If you adhere to the texts more than logic, Divorce is not of God's will.

Also, it is never specified when sex was "invented" for bearing children. Sure, God decreed that Eve would have to get pregnant.
This would have more bearing if other mammals didn't also have the means of pregnancy.
