As you know in vague ways I will not clarify part of my sexual abuse as a child includes the use of a particular cat. As a result, into adulthood I have developed a disgust of cats in general. However, having to live with a cat over the years made me realize cats are not terrifying, but sad and pathetic. But there is a new cat and it's a kitten and it's kind of..... Cute. I'll tolerate it. I gave it a bit of tilapia yesterday. I'll pet behind their ears occasionally. But it's still pathetic to me, though I understand this is a perspective filter from past experience and not the truth.
