Brain damage worked very well for me
Accepting that they're a part of you that comes from you is the key to ridding of one's sense of splitting, while denial that it's really 'you' is what gives it it's own autonomy.
What do you do with that information though? It’s you, but then why is it a different voice in your head? Why isn’t it in your own voice it’s just a thought like your normal inside voice, or the voice you hear when you read in your head.

Because your 'creativity' gave it one.

It becomes your own or toneless the less you mystify it, while it can gain a life of it's own as a split sense of self if you keep the two states separated.
When you hear yourself saying things 'unlike yourself', that is actually denial over your believed sense of self, and that vitriol has to get out somehow if you're going to keep distancing yourself from it.
You are the sum of your experiences, you are everything you've said and done within any state of mind, and all that comes from you is you. Just how we must take responsibility over all of those things, we too are the ones who made it happen, as without us there it simply would not have occurred.

You don’t have to be gay about it. I get it. Just remember it’s me and apparently I hate myself and think there is something wrong with me. That actually makes sense. I wonder how to stop hating myself.

Lol you didn't understand the point at all. 🤣
my inner critic often gets things wrong, so i acknowledge what it's saying and then figure out of it has a point or if it's being overactive, a lot of times it's saying something though so don't ignore it
I know, it’s likely my conscience because it is only there when I’m doing something wrong.
