So he agrees that he is the primary developer, not what the media information says.

And I have a suspicion that he is exaggerating her work. I am sure she did well, just not as much as its said.
I looked at all the commits, didn't click on all of them, but I was trying to find 'the formula', but no luck.

Also here is a link to the tweets, so you can click on the links in them:

Just wanted to be sure the information is not misunderstood. He wrote 7 tweets with almost no real content, just filler, like a politician.

He's trying to bang and marry her by being her secret everything, but that's not going to happen cause now she'll feel as though she has better options and after she takes his nobel prize, she'll be gone and lots and lots of time will pass.

I don't blame the geek for liking her though, she's into the same field, she isn't half bad and she's in his life, but like the rest of the world, we're all here to learn the hard way, and it's his turn.

 Why are you like this.

 Because shit like this happens

Man, I don't want to be that guy but

Would y'all be scrutinizing this work if the roles had been reversed? Or would you have just accepted it without seeking more information?

If the trend was the opposite, i would do the same. But if the trend is as it is now and the roles were reversed, i wouldnt have a reason to doubt the media. I dont have the time to check everything. Only those that i can smell to be fishy. And i actually believed the media, until someone else showed me the reality  of the situation.

So i was lied to, manipulated and taken for a fool.

So you're having a knee-jerk reaction to being forced to question your own judgement? You feel taken advantage of intellectually? I can definitely understand that, but let's try to separate it from the issue.

The fact is, the "trend" is a very recent state of affairs. For far longer than women have been taking credit for mens work, men have been taking credit for womens work. Women have traditionally been in situations in which they had no platform to publicize their ideas and no standing in society to take credit for their own results. And that does still happen today despite the fact that the reverse is on the rise and therefore being disproportionately focused on.

As someone admittedly only halfway informed, it looks to me like this girl never tried to take credit for the work of the whole team. Nor was there some mass media conspiracy to present it as such. It looks like there were several particular news outlets that focused too heavily on her contribution to the exclusion of others. Probably in a misguided attempt to inspire female scientists. Was it good reporting? No. Is it proof of the MGTOW Theory? Nah.

The people making a spectacle of this are looking for something to make a spectacle of. No one is better off for it.
