I had a ct scan today. and i just got diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Doctors said it isn't life threatening and if they had found it in my 40's or 50's i would've not survived. It's the size of a golfball and is sitting on my frontal lobe. this must explain all the weird symptoms i've been having. 

 

They believe it's been growing for 5 years now and want to take me to surgery to completely remove it. I'm scheduled to have surgery within 4 months to completely remove my tumour. wish me good luck everyone. i hope once this tumor is removed it will be a turning point.

 Not trolling. But i should survive this as it's benign and my doctors have told me i have a 99% recover rate meaning i have practically a 0% chance of dying.

It's located in the left frontal lobe. It all makes sense now because i've been having really bad headaches and psychosis for the past 5 years. aswell as behavioural changes which didn't feel like me. So for the past 5 years i really haven't been feeling myself. This could explain many personality issues and anger issues i have been having.

Yeah man, frontal lobe is where our personality gets organized and comes together, it basically shapes who you are. That's where planning happens too. You're at least not fucked, and the doctors said it can be fixed. If I were in your position, I would be doing a lot of writing right now. That way you can look back afterward and see the difference.

I wont die from this brain tumor thing. Doctors have compared it to having a cough or a cold or a tapeworm inside of your brain. It's just a matter of removing the nasty thing. Kind of scared of getting surgery but it needs to be done. I am also so thankful that after this is all done my life expectancy wont be effect. I would've been worser of with a heart condition than a brain tumor.

But I also said to my doctor what are the chances of the brain tumor coming back and they told me unless it is genetic and your family has a long history of brain tumors then it shouldn't return. hopefully.

I am crying right now because I am so scared but so thankful it was discovered. thank god for technology discoveries otherwise my life and this brain tumor would've taken me down a black hole.
