People think I’m a narcissist. If I say I’m a narcissist does it invalidate that claim.

I always had this same question about sociopathy and there is literally a part of me that thinks I might be a psychopath on the basis of myself calling myself a sociopath all the time. I used to say sociopaths aren’t as violent and have more effect on your emotions but really I’m plenty violent and only god knows how much control I have over your emotions compared to a psychopath.

That depends on why you're saying it.

Spatial for example varies in his answers there, but for a while he was trying to tell people about how 'narcissism' is better than it's lacking with a list of reasons to the advantages of having it. This was itself likely a narc cope for said aforementioned narcissism, therein not really canceling the claim by saying it about himself through how he'd said it in a very 'narc cope' way.

There's also the classic angle from within some of psychology itself: If you're simply proud of real, tangible things, like a millionaire patting himself on the back for his well earned million, or a sports player patting himself on the back for legitimately being the best hockey player in the league, that's not necessarily narcissism, or even if it is it's not deemed enough of an issue to be construed as 'disorderly', rendered down to a 'quirk'. Many a narc from this have justified that they are proud of real achievements, completely blind to their penchant for embellishment if not outright reinventions on already tall tales. A major telltale issue of narcissism is over their willingness to believe their own stories.

Many narcs have justified that narcissism makes them legitimately superior, allowing their lives to go on undisturbed despite the epiphany. For that type, narrating their symptoms at them tends to otherwise bring about the same effects over them simply transcending the weight and scorn of the title, but not it's definition.

So narcissism to you is ‘undeserved’ entitlement.

It's like how CS claims to be 'everyone's type', and gets more defensive about how much people, even the one arguing with her, must actually really like her.

You changed the topic. I see your gambit. lol You just want to talk about CS.
You were saying entitlement was deserved (to you) if one is a millionaire or sports figure.
I am narcissistic either because "I only call when I want something" or I am guilty of self-absorption.

No I didn't, it's still related entirely to narcissism, something I've openly claimed she has. I usually use people as examples when something about them exemplifies the traits, like the post prior to that where I used Spatial as an example, or past posts where I've referred to your shortcomings comparatively to get a point across.

It's most definitely the self-absorption, yours is to the point of rebuking all external narratives, even truths.

I'd not so quickly throw 'narc' at you though, but something is definitely amiss.
