You do kinda remind me of a smarter version of Wilechaser. 

 How so? I've heard that name but didn't know the person well.

He had a lot of similar reasons to rebel against people from some similar tendencies for triggering and a similar reputation, but he was a lot more of a childish tantrumer than you are. He also had the "0 effort to be liked" compensation response thing, but his behavior unflinchingly sold childish and dumb instead of your angle towards appearing smart and daunting. 

You both expected to be seen as the bad guy because of who they are (as opposed to who you are purely), and as a result you both tried to fuck with the user base for some sense of personal fulfillment. The style exhibited by both has undercurrents of a socially defeatist mindset that stands to prove that they're above such constraints, but yeah, he'd respond more youthfully, like a young Sinister or TPG, purely through emotionally driven spam, while you've clearly taken a page out of Jim's tactics and prefer to sit there reminding us that you could do that at any time. From seeming young, Wilechaser did not have any poise walls, just reactivity. 

The rest of it's just a feeling, like a knee-jerk reaction mentally, which has no real bearing beyond explaining how I came to that conclusion.

That is a part of it, yes, but it's for the older users too. What people've done in the past has a way of following them, and that aspect of reputation is socially karmic. I'd rather have the benefits involved with a history of keeping things to myself than one of someone with a reputation as a leak. It requires far less coercion to get people to divulge things about themselves if they don't have to worry about it being publicly posted elsewhere, plus keeping things to myself often has a way of increasing it's stock value or otherwise open other avenues towards things of greater value. 

It's not just what a person has done that makes a person appear trustworthy, but also what they have never done or have yet to do. It expresses how much restraint that they have, where they've set the bar, and what people can expect from them, which comes with potential passive benefits. 

If you really think posting her dox won't hurt her more than not posting it, even on long-term, you're delusional. 

I prefer poison to swords, and have been quite content with where things are as is. 

If things change? Maybe, but as is I'd rather garner interest from my stocks than sell them.

Sug was just, at most, an influencer or lobbyist, and otherwise a reposter no different from Edvard's contributions after the fact beyond the volume of it. 

If things change? Maybe, but as is I'd rather garner interest from my stocks than sell them. 

It's the internet, use the opportunity while you still can. Sugar could just stop coming around one day and never return.

Sug was just, at most, an influencer or lobbyist, and otherwise a reposter no different from Edvard's contributions after the fact beyond the volume of it. 

 I remember Sugar would come to S-C just to post bits of your dox to prolong the effect on you. This was before Lena posted the whole thing. Lena posted the whole thing later to "put you out of your misery" and to get it done with rather than anything else after about a month or so of Sugar starting to post bits of it.

Somebody as hated as Sugar would have a LOT of trouble makers mess with her every day if she got outed, myself included, and you know how I tend to push limits all the time.

The internet is her compensation zone to combat her real life issues (and even her internet life looks difficult through self-infliction), so I'm not too worried. 

This is the girl that felt the need to try to convince us that she has a boyfriend for internet cool kid points, and I've seen her reduced to sexual RPing more than once. She can't leave the internet, as she doesn't just need to see others she (in her own mind) can elevate herself above to try to feel powerful in lieu of real life power, but she wants a crowd of people to see it as confirmation, which isn't something she can simply do irl. Judging by her struggles to connect with people, she might not even have real friends outside of the net. 

Sugar has shown a history of using the techniques that worked against her on other people (sometimes directly after). From this, it's easy to assume that this was likely done to her first.

I mostly remember her alluding to dox shreds through quotes and implications instead of actually posting anything. It'd been made clear that she was privy to it and thought that alluding to it would be enough. A lot of the time was spent with Sugar being baffled over the lack of giving in to her demands followed by even more confusion once she saw nothing come of the dox. 

Sugar likes getting people to join in on her shenanigans by convincing someone else do it first to test the waters for her (ie: Alena). As such, she was always afraid to post the materials until there were scapegoats to point at for the sake of protecting her own reputation, but then of course once she figures that it went well she likes stealing the credit (ie: also Alena). For as many times as she's threatened to call my folks' house, I know she never will from there not being a buffer of others having done it first to coast on. 

As much as Sugar likes to showboat, her taking credit for this is yet more embellishment of her involvement. Alena's scary shit when she's pressured, but Sugar's just petty.

She'd try to claim it isn't her, make excuses to herself about the attackers to soften the blow (classic ad hominem), and/or otherwise slowly get over it through sheer exposure and time. Having too much animosity direct towards her at once is also liable to have others show her sympathy, especially from those who want to "appear to be above it", which could risk being the platform from which she could rebuild her tattered reputation. Where she is now meanwhile is a slow poison that is doing her no favors, showing her reduced to barking at the echoing dark in hopes that the :popcorn: crunching will cease and become an actual conversation. 

Her struggle to be taken seriously falling flat on the regular meanwhile is liable to slowly rend her layer by layer until whatever comes next.
