With that said, I lack the troll vibe that Jim has, this makes him very likable. Also I was not around for long before I started being banned on sight, and when I was, I was a troubled kid who made 0 effort to be liked, just like now.

Not "taking something seriously" is independent of if they can handle it or not. In one hand it can be a natural response, but in the other it's just an act of self-protection. They're also equally prone to tag along behaviors, but their bandwagon uses a slightly different fuel than the older one (a lot of old cast are converting their bandwagon towards the newer fuel though). 

This crowd you're celebrating are a large part of the "Why can't we all just get along?" infection, and I for one thought you'd be more against that than for it. For the majority they aren't "reasonable", they're conflict-avoidant and think they can just hover around watching others beef it instead of them, and unlike the old cast that were browbeaten into different forms of submission, many of the newer folk are too afraid to really get their hands dirty in the first place (even my cleaner kind of dirty). The older group was more of an open vector for wounds, which made them more inherently honest, while now we're dealing with a period of shrouding their jade and shade with memes and group-based protections. 

As I've said before, we're all participants of this freak circus, no one person here isn't a carnival attraction. 


TLDR; The new way is one of cowardice and deflection, while the old way was so triggered they couldn't help themselves. It's how they make unspoken agreements through synergistic issues as an ingroup that stands to change the culture the most.

I suppose the main difference here is a lack of personal investment from the newer people through a lack of exposure and different context. The new cast could be jarred just as readily as the old cast (if not many of them more so) over the same old issues if their environment and context enabled them to do so. 

The only way you'd really know if they were "playing by your music" would be to be a proper scourge again and see if they still like you down the line. The only ones who've been "truly tested" are those who actually had to deal with you over the years, and in a way I think those who are alright with you from old cast are the ones that at least somewhat get your tune (or they're doing that "y the dramah guise" fakery). 

New or Old here it's still common for us to have our heads up our own asses expressed largely through emotional contradictions, but what each group feels entitled to differs strongly based on the when. Those who joined later were not a part of many past chapters of drama, so the portions about you they're liable to focus on will instead be from their own timeline. 

In the end you don't really know how strong or weak the new peeps are, because you've yet to really test them. The values between the two aren't actually that different from each other, just their understanding of what the website's about.

He had a lot of similar reasons to rebel against people from some similar tendencies for triggering and a similar reputation, but he was a lot more of a childish tantrumer than you are. He also had the "0 effort to be liked" compensation response thing, but his behavior unflinchingly sold childish and dumb instead of your angle towards appearing smart and daunting. 

You both expected to be seen as the bad guy because of who they are (as opposed to who you are purely), and as a result you both tried to fuck with the user base for some sense of personal fulfillment. The style exhibited by both has undercurrents of a socially defeatist mindset that stands to prove that they're above such constraints, but yeah, he'd respond more youthfully, like a young Sinister or TPG, purely through emotionally driven spam, while you've clearly taken a page out of Jim's tactics and prefer to sit there reminding us that you could do that at any time. From seeming young, Wilechaser did not have any poise walls, just reactivity. 

The rest of it's just a feeling, like a knee-jerk reaction mentally, which has no real bearing beyond explaining how I came to that conclusion.
