I just got home to this on my counter as a gift from the people who stayed here for like two months 

They're moving into their new home today, so thank god, I can have my house back! I rented it out to them while they were looking for homes to buy and waiting to close and all that. 

They were about to close on a house, and I thought it would just be a one week stay- but then someone out bid them at the last second and they got fuckt. Had to scramble for a new place. And then the hurricane was coming and that prolonged things *significantly* but yeah. 

I think because it was longer than expected they felt like giving me a gift? But anyway it was really sweet but I'm just glad to be home!!!!

I call it Hotel Blanc because sometimes I Air BNB it out while traveling, it's a great way to make some extra cash so I try to make it look nice for that reason.

its a whole section by magnolia home the brand... and everything they make is, farm house chic. which is essentially what this style is i have going here. 

i wanted to do something really classic and "staple" because it would go with the exterior environment of the apartment 

since then i added a cactus as well because i saw it at target and i just had to have it for some odd reason. 

i also have had my eyes on a blue agave plant, which i might put in my yard or back porch or something i dunno, but i just know i should get a fake one because when i am away who the fuck is gonna take care of it :P and dead things make me very sad i can't handle that kind of loss ok

 Yes I saw the sign indicating opposite day, I was complaining about the entire toilet being covered in shit and piss

 well i had a good experience this go round, they left the place amazingly clean and stuff 

but yeah i really missed living in my house so i'm going to try to remind myself to never do that again unless i have a trip planned
