The planter idea is really great because you can change out the flowers with every season.
I'm always changing my mind with how I want to decorate, so I was looking through all these plants trying to figure out which was the plant I wanted to stare at all year long. And then I realize, I really don't have to commit to one plant if I don't want to.
Just get planters! Fill with flower bundles of your choice like so and wala. I get inspiration from Pinterest as well as like stores that I pass by walking everyday, I see their decor and I just copy it by making it myself for literally a third of the price.
And the best thing is that you can take these plants out and repurpose them into other DIY decor around your house, changing things around as you please. Saves a lot of money in the long term.

I call it Hotel Blanc because sometimes I Air BNB it out while traveling, it's a great way to make some extra cash so I try to make it look nice for that reason.

^this apartment tour really inspired me when I picked out my apartment sort of what features to look for. I liked the white doors, wood floors, glam kitchen, big windows feel.

so it's great style inspiration.
obviously yours doesn't have to be as granduer, but I just mean when picking out the finishes and creating that style, look and feel you know what to do…
because when you're making a custom closet with a company like California closets or what have you, they're often like very customizable and you just have no idea what to pick, it can get overwhelming, and often the designers choices they want to make for you aren't actually best.
Kathleen lights closet tour inspired me to get drawers with velvet jewelry holder insert thingies because it's nice and it's a method of jewelry organization and storage that I will actually use- and is practical, easy to use. fast. etc.

I just liked a few things from her closet like the little pink beauty stool and the clear drawers… the little framed art. I would of never thought to do that but it's really cute to frame something cute and it really brightens up the space. oh and the rug idea. something patterned, I would of never thought to do that but yeah now I like the concept of like crazy rugs- I like a little more subtle and muted, the more detail the better but yeah. it sparked interest for me.

beautiful. perfect. a lot of people comment under her videos saying they just love the "fresh" background she has in all her makeup videos. her love of beautiful bright open fresh spaces, seriously contributes to viewers attraction to her videos and creates a subconscious desire to want to watch them.
I love watching her makeup videos for that reason too, I didn't realize it till someone commented, but yeah the background of her videos reminds me of like, those vogue makeup tutorials you see on youtube with celebrities in them. the background is just always pristine, bright, white.
and I love that feel.
