B and C. I never gave any actual fucks if any particular person here is rlly a therapist. And I don't believe this guy is for the following reasons:
1) He cares waaaaay too much what ppl think of his 'therapist' title.
2) He is constantly demonstrating a shoddy or nonexistent grasp on terms, concepts and schools of thought that are taught in first and second year psych classes. Case in point: the word "psychotherapist." The term is not in common use anymore bc it refers to a specific approach used by Sigmund Freud, who has been discredited and is now only referred to as a piece of history, or to analyze film and literature, or in jest for the sake of telling a dirty joke.
I've only taken 3 psych courses, myself, as electives to top up a degree in a different field. And even I know better than to believe this guy.

2) What do you mean? Psychotherapist comes from psychotherapy. A term that is very much used. In my country the corrresponding term is "Psychotherapeut", which has exactly the same meaning. If we are talking Freud, we are talking psychoanalysis. The psychoanalytical school has the biggest lobby in my country and probably the world and is very much relevant. It is different from Freuds beginnings, though. But it is very relevant, thus not only a historical relict. For example, whole attachment theory is based on it and modern psychotherapy research identifies things like transference, countertransference etc as essential to the therapeutic process.
Also everything you say about me in regards to knowledge and competence fits you much better. Repeatedly when you talk about your psych studies it is either wrong stuff, very superficial or just not relevant to the discussion. I cringed a lot in the past, but often I am drunk or high in my free time so it is difficult to find the energy to answer you.
