Change frightens you?
Change is great, but the speed of it has far less get done. It also makes it a lot easier to not actually listen when what's being said's only showing like 13 lines of chat at a time without scrolling.
The sense of permanence with forum posting has it stay there, resonating with the readers even if someone spams nonsense following it. I can tell who is and isn't reading it usually through how they respond.
