Yeah I couldn’t make it through a whole 11 mins either but I totally agree that lots of (probably very well meaning) people who haven’t themselves been in this situation say “oh, why don’t you just adopt?” As if it were really that simple. It’s so much more complex when you really look into it, so many things to consider.
Had you thought of using donor eggs and/or a surrogate through a fertility clinic when you’re in a financial position to do so? Also, what’s the rush? If you’re using donor eggs then there’s no time pressure as the eggs will be of a young donor, so even women in their 40s can do it.
