That being said I still like Peach otherwise, but this has been a pet peeve.

I understood aesthetic as style and fashion like, mood even, i didn't understand what you meant by weaponized but the make up bit is weird, you can like make up without feeling a need to be accepted by others. Many people like playing around different make ups and it's pretty uncool to label it as wearing it for others to be accepted when you can just wear it for yourself.

If you look at the looks I've posted, I pretty much only use bright colors for fun instead of trying to create a fake pretty face (except for special occasions I do this, but that's pretty common even for women who don't regul

The example between her and Turquie's pretty on point

Pretty sure this is the only time I've "weaponized" my appearance, but Turq was asking for it. She went on for like 6 months constantly attacking me, and I was tired of always being her target bc I'm with Alice. It worked too IMO. Turq cares more about her sexual worth to men than anything else so beating her at that knocked her down a few pegs.

Yeah, when it's about art solely. You tend to see this more from people who work in theater, but there are others who aren't doing it to feel more comfortable being seen by other people. A lot of people who use it out of insecurity expand into the arts, but if they dropped their art you'd still see them wearing at least minimal levels of makeup to get through the day.

Men have a similar aesthetic challenge, but for them it's more about looking good enough to find a mate rather than looking good enough to leave the house. It's also been shown that men of considerably lower aesthetic scores can get away with more than women of the same rating.

For some reason culture tries to sell men as a matter of "distinction", while women are instead meant to not just be "beautiful", but also "beautiful enough". I'd argue it even translates into trans politics with MtF's expressing much more of a need to both blend in and look good by comparison to FtM's who simply embrace the bro they always knew was in them.

I understand that society's believed needs creates a status quo for makeup, but where it's taken shows the individual.

Many people like playing around different make ups and it's pretty uncool to label it as wearing it for others to be accepted when you can just wear it for yourself.

You can, but how she displays it in conjunction with using it as a form of attack makes me see it more like her putting on armor.

I disagree that I ever used my looks as an "attack" on any other occasion. All my make up posts here have been creative and colorful for fun, instead of painting a fake face over my face.

Sc is pretty boring.

Nah before that. We were talking about actors we both liked, and in some thread were on the same side but Idr what about now. I remember while reading that thread telling alice irl "I actually kinda like xena when she isn't having dementia episodes bc she reminds me of the lady Enet I used to live with"

Crazy, alcoholic irish biker woman. 57 years old with no teeth. Had 3 kids but had the best stories. Completely off her rocker, but one of the best cooks I ever met. She was great and you remind me of her a lot

Ur just jelly cuz u saw I'm young and skinny 😋

Why would it be that, as opposed to anything else?

We were getting along for awhile, based on agreeing on some topics and acting civil in chat and posts. Then when I posted a selfie in ddddddd's thread she went back to hating me. The timing correlated so I guessed.

 That's fair.

Pretty sure this is the only time I've "weaponized" my appearance, but Turq was asking for it.

It's the most blatant example of it, but you've otherwise used it in conjunction with lusty storytelling to get a gaggle of idiot-males to say positive things and have passively used it as a form of scale, of sizing people up, that further in affects how you speak with them. You usually keep the strikes shorter, but the Turq case was built up.

It's one of your criteria for judging a person, but based on your willingness to otherwise help you likely see it sort of like one's choice to take up exercise versus sitting on the couch. I've otherwise seen from you fat-shaming and other aesthetic insults when you're responding to someone while more fiery.

You don't sit there and say you're only allowed to have attractive friends like some sort of narc, but when push comes to shove it's a part of your repertoire for social combat.

She went on for like 6 months constantly attacking me, and I was tired of always being her target bc I'm with Alice.

Then you went at her with what you believed was your most sharpened weapon: Your appearance.

You then proceeded to gloat and rub salt in the wound like a sore winner, backed by men who were completely missing the point either on purpose for the lols or from being T-poisoned lunkheads with boners over the photo they just saw.

There are many ways to attack a person, to shut them down, and that was your go-to.

It worked too IMO. Turq cares more about her sexual worth to men than anything else so beating her at that knocked her down a few pegs.

A lot of things work on Turq, and I don't know if I'd call her puppet bombings on you a surrender from her.

Her god complex is also as brimming as ever, these "pegs" she was knocked down don't exist.

I disagree that I ever used my looks as an "attack" on any other occasion. All my make up posts here have been creative and colorful for fun, instead of painting a fake face over my face.

What sort of makeup do you wear when you go outside? You don't strike me as one to go au naturale unless you're staying home or camping or something, not with clothes that loud.

You are sadly mistaken lol

I agreed with you on a couple of points, but no. I never liked you.

Tbh, I agreed with you about stuff I didn't admit bc... ew.

Fuck you lol

I even agree with Jim about a few things (Asian traps are hot and a good kebab is one of the best things in life.)

But I still despise him.

Consider yourself lucky I don't despise you like I despise him.

I agree with Turncoat on numerous points; enough that I can often give the illusion of civility when we're engaged in discussion.

But I don't like him, either.

You'll find as you read more of my posts that I'm not a very forgiving sort of person.

Usually I don't wear any makeup actually. When I do, it's the same kind of makeup looks I post here. I eent to chik fil a today, and the post office yesterday, with nothing on my face but sunscreen. Makeup is something I do for fun, and I've been doing it a lot more since Alice got out of the hospital as something to do in quarantine. It's a way to feel like I have a routine and break up the day, and also be creative.

Really?

Guess I pegged wrong on the makeup front at least then, unless the looks you post here are more often worn than it sounds.

What about for the workplace, or when socializing with people you know?

What about for the workplace,

I didnt wear anything on my face to work at the wearhouse, except on a few occasions when my friend and I decided to wearing matching outfits and makeup. I like to sleep in so I rarely wore makeup to school either, except on days when I had Biology Majors Council meetings, to look professional for Professors who's research projects I wanted to join. That would be light natural makeup looks, not the colorful stuff I post.

or when socializing with people you know?

 Depends on the occasion.

With friends casually: same sweatpants I've been wearing for 7 days. Sometines wearing eyeshadow depending on how lazy I feel

With friends going out: we all dress like hookers, full face if makeup

Going to my parent's house: the casual clothes I wear to school and eye makeup done. Face makeup depends on my mood and reason for going.

Me on the daily, working at the wearhouse, and going out with friends:
