Lets start with the aesthetic, you don't wear black clothing as an expression of your soul, nor do you go for skulls and blood and shit. You don't desire anything emo nor edgy, you prefer flashy hipster choices made by a blind person.

I know what I have previously presented doesn't exactly scream "goth", and my fashion sense certainly isn't.... but a case could still be made that I am depending on how you define it. Here are reasons I might be-

-I love dark music such as gothic rock, darkwave, ethereal wave, dark ambient, ect

-My favorite holiday is Halloween

-I love horror. It is thrilling to me, especially psychological or relatable horror; creepypastas like Ben Drowned, scary urban legends, Japanese horror, psychological horror, Silent Hill, ect. 

-I have a very cynical viewpoint of my own generation. I like to explore the darker aspects of the human psyche and of reality, so I like psychology a lot. I wouldn't say I'm doom and gloom or often depressed but I do apply an analytical perspective to these things and enjoy it.
