 But why still come yourself if so? A lot of people here decry it but post everyday. I don't decry SC as a whole. I dislike the fixation on social matters that I consider redundant but I like talking about what I like if anybody has a good take. Some people here have good takes. Unfortunately people here will have a good take but then go and do something terrible to someone so there's why it's best to not get too into it.

 Like you said, it's a habit but i feel like there's less of a pull nowadays (except for holidays 🙄). It's good for some discussion, I've come to value quite a few people here but the nature of this place, the slow cannibalism staved off only by new or "new" members- it's a bit destructive and definitely not a bad place but certainly not the best place. 

Yeah and that's only if the new members are actually interesting enough to be worth trolling and going ham over. It's kinda funny when really stupid people come, dox themselves, get exposed for being terrible and never come back tho.

From what I can see this place feels special, but is nothing special.  It is a bubble outside or within normal life where you find people that are interesting, charismatic, broken, different etc. You can see power dynamics and relationships between people amplified a 100 times and it is very intense. But it is artificial and people that thrive in here could never survive or exist in the real world. They need bubbles. There are many bubbles like this one. It attracts you, because when you are in the bubble it feels special or whole etc, like you are the center or at least a meaningful part of a real world. But when you can exist on the outside you can really see it is just a bubble, not real life, based on lies etc kinda like The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio. Just not as cool, because in the whole picture, people that need to stay in the bubble just look pathetic and unhappy.

 People with 18, 19 years old are peaking in their narcissism. They think they are the most intelligent, most interesting and hold more knowledge than old people and whatever they do or have been through the younger one thinks he could do much better. 
I never really bothered reading BH’s posts. He is the young kid begging for attention.

those who do are too invested to quit

i only come here because every other forum i enjoyed died, yet this site has stood the test of time

discord is an option but it has many zoomers and tryhards, most of its users are typically under 18 raging virgins and simps

discord is also trash because of its community guidelines and anyone can create a server, servers aren't remarkable

anyone can create a server in a second means it's a constant PR game if you're a server owner and if you do anything your community does not like, they'll create a new server and ditch you

I meanwhile both read the guy's posts and met him, he's not just "some teenager" for this deficit.
