I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather be a carrier than sick.

I mean the only ones I'd be potentially making sick are just those who aren't vaccinated, right?

And 10-25% of the vaccinated ones.

Though, the main anti-vax argument that makes sense here is simply:

The vaccine is not tested/developed properly due to how little time it took when for other vaccines it takes a long while.

U can give me the argument that tons of resources got poured into it, and that's why it came out so fast. However, I don't exactly understand the process of vaccine making, and what can backfire when one is made poorly. There have been rumours, for example, that if you get corona the second time, it's worse and u even more ded than the first time. What if it makes u contact that sort of thing quicker instead of helping u out?

To have an educated opinion on this matter that's not based on speculations and superficial "common sense" type of logic, would be to understand the process of vaccine making and how it works for this type of virus. The main line of a vaccine is "they inject ded/weakened/modified form of virus, ur body learns to fight it, and is then prepared".

And, after that, a pragmatic approach would be:

Are the time-waste + risks of taking this vaccine worth the benefits? And perhaps, principialy, if gov't decides some extreme measures like no lockdown for vaxed ppl but lockdown for unvaxxed people, do I accept this sort of bs from my gov't?

I'm with trooncoat on this one. The vaccine has been extensively tested. While there are side effects like fevers, and mild covid symptoms, it won't make you MORE susceptible to COVID or any other superstition without evidence coming from user124321.

Though, if you gonna talk about evidence.

<has been EXTENSIVELY tested>

U got a source on that, m8? How tested was it exactly? If you don't provide that, the level of your argument is the same as mine, mr Carnival.

And you know what, "superstition" my ass.

Here: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30764-7/fulltext , for example.

There is legitimate concern that reinfection with the virus makes it more severe. Therefore there can be legitimate concern that if you get the vaccine AND you get infected, you will have more severe symptoms.

Now my argument is the superior one compared to your baseless one. Up yours monsieur Carnival.

Just google "antibody dependent enhancement vaccine sars".

and google "vaccine virus autoimmune sars"

Basically there are two things that can happen if you get the virus or a vaccine that looks like the virus.

1. The second infection with the virus is much worse after the vaccine or the actual virus. Your immune system can actually help the virus kill you the second time, ADE. Scientist still waiting on this one. Those poor guinea pigs.

2. Auto-immune issues can also occur long term. This virus is special in several ways. One way is that it has mimicry with very essential organ proteins. These proteins include heart, brain, lungs, blood, pancreas and others. A virus uses mimicry to avoid the host immune system. BUT

If you happen to be unlucky and develop antibodies to a mimicked virus proteins, say ones that are mimicked to the lungs. Well, after the virus is cleared, your own body attacks your lungs, cool huh.

All educated theories of course.

NOW, there are very smart people developing vaccines that have taken these issues into consideration. google BIOVACC-19. Avoid vaccines that use the whole dead virus or generate the virus spike protein. My 2c

The virus came from my ASS!
