Where are you getting this lol. Btw, I love Gattaca. It's my favorite movie. I only say dystopian due to the pop-culture references, I don't actually think what you're describing is a dystopia in the literal sense of the word.
I thought you were going to promote a system without abortion, since I raised an objection to the mass genocide it would imply. I'm fine with the idea, in principle, if it doesn't imply mass genocide. So maybe we can just take that off the table for now since you already addressed that claim and I was satisfied with your answer.
I am also relatively satisfied with your propaganda answer. That is, you think it is effective, but not infallible. Therefore, we need to enforce some things by force. Moreover, end justifies means, which is why the Gattaca situation is ok.
Like I said, I don't take issue with the idea of a happy utopia with perfect people, reached through limiting the birth of `defective` people. In fact, I think it can be a much better world which is happier, healthier, and more intelligent, if done right.
However, what would you say to the person who wants to do the same thing you want to do, but instead of making a utopia, they want to make a world which is dumber, less healthy, and less self-aware?
That is, they have a competing program that maximizes stupidity in the name of returning towards nature (or any other reason). They will create self-sustaining robots that will enforce the laws of the system.
As time passes on, the system will be even easier to control because people become even dumber than now, whereas you will always risk the chance that smart people fuck up the system or disagree with your ideas. After all, if they all have IQs in the triple digits by current standards, it would be hard to conceive that they would all agree with you, who has an IQ of merely around a 100. At the very least, a society of dumb people will be easier to control than a smart one.
