the genius is truly natures favourite

It is the genius who defies nature rather than plays along with it, and it is truly the genius who suffers the most cerebrally over their compulsion to overthink.

Even The Bible's selling that black pill:

Wisdom Is Meaningless

I, the Teacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind!

I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

What is crooked cannot be straightened;
    what is lacking cannot be counted.

I said to myself, “Look, I have increased in wisdom more than anyone who has ruled over Jerusalem before me; I have experienced much of wisdom and knowledge.”

Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind.

For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;
    the more knowledge, the more grief.

It then goes on and on about how knowledge gives too many complications, wisdom makes life too heavy, and that life experience pales in comparison to the kingdom of heaven.

I'd argue that genius comes from one's distaste towards the status quo, whatever that might be, in combination with a racing mind and the stamina to otherwise run it's mental loops. If they were fine with everything they'd feel less challenged by their setting and therefor have less to think about and mull over.

Genius also seems largely inefficient more often than not, like some kinda messed up Min/Maxing. It's largely overrated outside of the human construct unless you marvel at how much it ruins other animal's lives.

How is it favoritism when they suffer for it?

 Maybe I will check it out, i am looking for angsty literature right now that is sort of black pilly.

It's hard to think of what's good in that area. I like Reverened Bob, because he lacks a lot of unnecessary pretense and posturing. But people in that vein seem few and far between. Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. Schopenhauer was particularly funny in "Studies in Pessimism," that was another source of information I devoured. And Nietzsche to an extent with "Beyond Good or Evil" or "The Antichrist."

I like when things are less philisophical, though. Feels less pretentious to me.

I am already going through the German idealists and Pre-scoratics once more.

I actually view Nietzsche and Schopenhauer as optimistic compared to what I am looking for.

I want something completely void and preferably not only nihilistic but annihilistic.

I've been thinking of picking up books by Yeager, Lang, Mohaghegh, Ballard, and some weird books by a guy named Shipley who seems pretty unknown.

I've been running into all kinds of weird 'circles' obsessed with humanities annihilation and want to give them a chance given I am completely unfamiliar.

Nick Lang was part of this group called the CCRU that explored deep post-human idealism, their writings have been compiled into a compilation text but I don't really want to dive head first into it. Looking for something softer and slightly less insane so I think I will start with a Yeager novel.

it requires a certain level of intellect to realise that one was wrong

however those who openly admit they're wrong without it being necessary are generally vain, and this betrays a lower level of intelligence

the more someone glorifies the importance truth the more vain he is

thus, it is the case that socrates was the most vain of the philosophers

the argument that one should not kill themselves to save other people the pain is morally reprehensible, for one it enforces the notion that the suicidal persons life is only worth insofar the degree of pleasure or pain he brings to his loved ones

the second point is that it is emotional blackmail

I saw it more as a desire towards understanding through consistency.
