Just wanted to clarify, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I research various disorders but I don’t fit into any of them quite right. I’m not claiming to be non-nuerotypical or have any particular disorders.

I love listening to this doctor because she seems to have an understanding of trauma that I usually only hear from other people who have survived trauma themselves, when normally even when talking with mental-health professionals there is some level that I feel a disconnect with them when trying to talk about trauma because they are like a normal untraumatized person.
Anyway, one thing she mentioned (not in this video) is how sometimes when in comes down to treatment, finding patterns is so much more important than diagnosing. Especially because there are so many diagnosis that have significantly overlapping characteristics.
For example. she specializes in helping people with Cluster B related issues. And there are many people who obviously exhibit plenty of characteristics that show up in the 4 different diagnosis within Cluster B, but can't technically be diagnosed with a specific one. But all the personality disorders within Cluster B struggle with similar problems--mostly social--that negatively impact their life and the people's around them so it doesn't really matter if they can't fit into one box, they obviously have a problem and need help due to the patterns of behavior they have.
