My favorite thing in the age of Trump is the inversion of opinion he creates in the minds of his opposition.
For months liberals have been harping against conservatives calling them conspiracy theorists when it comes to covid. Suddenly Trump gets Covid-19 and hashtags related to trump faking his diagnosis etc trends and you see tweet after tweet and reddit post after reddit post.
The same sort of inversion occurred with vaccines, Trump has been pushing this vaccine constantly (lol really every time the market gets shaky) and liberals, whom attacked crazy right winged people, start speaking about the ineffectiveness and dangers of vaccines.
Politics is the fine art of diplomacy and compromise.
Politics is the fine art of bribery, clickbait, and legal loophole jutsu. lol
(And as a minor aside, what Alice said doesn't imply that trump is innocent of creating this atmosphere around himself and his administration. She said the opposite, specifically that he does create it.)
