media for future children

for example if i censored this and slapped a question in it, asking the child "what did stewie say to brian in this song after brian asked where they were?" to help there working memory, its just fine. i could also ask something like "fill in the blank for the missing ingredient for pie crust" i would censor quite a bit, but most importantly i will censor the ending.

From experience, that lesson wasn't a fun one to have early on.

"From experience, that lesson wasn't a fun one to have early on. " yes, its a hard thing to learn, but as a kid i was a lot more careful, after i learned that if i wasnt, i could die. dying is a very serious thing, and although its hard for children to understand, thats the world they live in. kids dont need to understand things like sex, until they go through puberty as they cant have kids yet anyway as they are kids themselves, but children can die at any age, and they must understand that.

Children's shows with child-safe adult sub-plots are essential imo. Rugrats was a surprisingly effective example of it (before it sold out):

Lol "Dr. Lip Shits":

Adventure Time meanwhile does it more by slipping them in in a way that, to children, it looks more innocent than the subtext lets on:
