She doesn't know how to confront her emotions.
So for example, when she focuses on a guy...let's take Sam Hyde as an example. She gets fixated, becomes convinced he is in love with her. And you would even ask for the evidence, but there never was any. She was still resolute about it. Not wanting to face the possibility she was wrong.
And here it is again in another iteration. And she's angry because she feels the walls closing in. Could be fear channeled into anger. And other times it was some dude from Discord, it was Colin, plenty more.
The whole goal of this is to appear to be a desirable person who is already in a relationship because of their traits. And the expression of that is a way to cope with insecurity. I think she needs help in that regard.
