genetic data does not point to wet market transmission of the virus

https://nypost.com/2020/05/17/coronavirus-taken-to-wuhan-market-by-someone-already-infected-study/

A study found the coronavirus was taken to an animal market in Wuhan, China, by a person already infected with the disease, according to a report.

The publicly available genetic data does not point to cross-species transmission of the virus at the market,” said Alina Chan, a molecular biologist, and Shing Zhan, an evolutionary biologist, the Mail on Sunday reported.

In their paper, the two said they were “surprised” to discover the coronavirus was “already pre-adapted to human transmission.”

But they said all routes for animal to human transmission – including from bats – must be examined.

The possibility that a non-genetically engineered precursor could have adapted to humans while being studied in a laboratory should be considered,” the paper said.

It was written by Chan and Ben Deverman, scientists at the Broad Institute, a research facility affiliated with Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Zhan, from the University of British Columbia.

The development adds to the growing criticism that the Chinese ruling Communist Party downplayed the severity of the outbreak and failed to report accurate numbers of the virus in the country.

“We need to get to the bottom of many things in relation to COVID-19,” said Bob Seely, a member of the British Parliament. “We need to know where this virus began, why we were told at one time there was no human transmission, and what was the role of the Chinese Communist Party.”

President Trump, who has blasted Beijing for a lack of transparency in its response to the pandemic, has claimed the coronavirus began in a Wuhan lab.

People are finally starting to see this, about fucking time.

This is so excellent natural selection. viruses are bad ass at mutating towards infecting there host. With SARS-CoV-1 you saw the first infections not quite suited for humans. Then the virus mutated towards better infections. This did not happen with CoV-2. It was already ready to go.

There are two options here, more probable =>it came from the lab or Less probable=>there was some magic in nature.

They are going to look for the magic in nature no doubt.

Just know ,

1) there are no international witnesses and the genetic data can be uploaded to genetic databases without international review.

2) The technology is so good you can't tell a lab created virus from a natural one.

3) Scientist are looking to cover their ass.

AND The only way at this point proof of a natural virus can be 100% is if If international scientist witness the harvesting and tracking the virus to the lab.

Interesting, but sadly un reliable. The ny post is an entertainment tabloid, not a newspaper, their reputation is that only 39% of their reporting is factual. This is the kind of magazine that writes a front page story on Michelle Obama being a man and says her kids were kidnapped at birth.

Can you find this information from any other source?

its coming, the biased main stream media will pick it up soon. maybe. TDS may prevent this.

This article supports the science.

In a side-by-side comparison of evolutionary dynamics between the 2019/2020 SARS-CoV-2 and the 2003 SARS-CoV, we were surprised to find that SARS-CoV-2 resembles SARS-CoV in the late phase of the 2003 epidemic after SARS-CoV had developed several advantageous adaptations for human transmission. Our observations suggest that by the time SARS-CoV-2 was first detected in late 2019, it was already pre-adapted to human transmission to an extent similar to late epidemic SARS-CoV. However, no precursors or branches of evolution stemming from a less human-adapted SARS-CoV-2-like virus have been detected. The sudden appearance of a highly infectious SARS-CoV-2 presents a major cause for concern that should motivate stronger international efforts to identify the source and prevent near future re-emergence. Any existing pools of SARS-CoV-2 progenitors would be particularly dangerous if similarly well adapted for human transmission. To look for clues regarding intermediate hosts, we analyze recent key findings relating to how SARS-CoV-2 could have evolved and adapted for human transmission, and examine the environmental samples from the Wuhan Huanan seafood market. Importantly, the market samples are genetically identical to human SARS-CoV-2 isolates and were therefore most likely from human sources. We conclude by describing and advocating for measured and effective approaches implemented in the 2002-2004 SARS outbreaks to identify lingering population(s) of progenitor virus.

more scientist are waking up to the lab origin. its really amazing how politically biased these scientist are. very disappointing scientific corruption.

a lab origin has huge negative financial implications to the virologist. there is a huge financial bias towards NOT finding a lab origin.

basically SARS CoV 2 binds best to human cells. this implies it did not come from animals like bats or pangalins.

it was perfectly adapted to human cells from the beginning of the pandemic. interesting.

if you look at SARS-CoV-1. you can follow the natural selection genetics. At first it was poorly adapted to human cells. then over time the virus mutated into a more infectious form better suited for humans.

This did not happen with SARS CoV 2, hmmm

just wait, when this hits main stream, the Chinese are going to magically find the "natural" virus in the woods. unverified and totally fabricated of course.

Lab escape theory of SARS-CoV-2 origin gaining scientific support

The financially biased scientist pushing this "Virus from Nature" crap are just lying. Just think of their funding when people find out they made this fucked up virus.

FUCK THEM!

https://www.gmwatch.org/en/news/latest-news/19412-lab-escape-theory-of-sars-cov-2-origin-gaining-scientific-support

"The possibility that SARS-CoV-2 is a human-manipulated virus that escaped from a lab has been flagged up by a whole series of scientists, such as Prof Richard Ebright, Prof Stuart Newman, Dr Michael Antoniou, Dr Jonathan Latham, Yuri Deigin, Dr Billy Zhang, and Prof Jonathan J. Couey."

"The conclusions that we draw from these two new papers and Dr Antoniou’s input are that the “zoonosis” theory of SARS-CoV-2’s origin looks increasingly open to question, that the lab escape theory appears to be a solidly based scenario and, if that is what happened, genetic engineering is highly likely to have played a part in the development of the virus."

This lab was under surveillance by highly trained U.S. reconnaissance officers in 2019

Before travel restrictions were placed, the U.S was already sending home planes full of U.S. assets who were Undergoing overseas operations

A recent letter in Nature Medicine(www.doi.org/10.1038/s41591-020-0820-9) claims that genomic analysis of SARS-CoV-2 shows that it is clearly not man made and that natural evolutionary causes are adequate to explain its appearance.

By contrast the case is made here that genomic analysis of the virus shows that directed evolution, a human engineering process honored by the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, provides superior explanation for its origin.

1) The simultaneous appearances of a new RBD backbone,

2) a new polybasic cleavage site,

3) new fusion improvements, asymptomatic transmission, and

4) an initial stable mutation rate indicative of mature adaptation to a human hosts

All these work together to lead to a common conclusion:

Directed evolution by humans in a laboratory provides more plausible explanation of the virus’s origin than does natural evolution. The major concern here is not who might have made the virus, but rather that technology already exists and is already well-understood throughout the world which is capable of creating new, future pandemics and appear to be the proximal cause of Covid-19.

body slammed, more science showing the virus was made in a lab.
