Fist of the North Star

Which ones in particular caught your eye?
I don't think their method is any more creative than throwing a bunch of ideas in a blender and seeing what comes out most of the time.
the offensive and nihilistic humor it has.
...you call that shit nihilistic and offensive?
It's spoonfed whitewash, made to look "challenging" by constantly telling you that that's what it's doing instead of demonstrating it naturally, but is subtly selling you feel good rhetoric by demonizing the series' evil genius through a long line of setting put downs.
Nihilism is only step 1 of the Rick and Morty program, they otherwise all get over it pretty quickly (save for Rick).
Plus, I love that there is actual consistency and there is a a real story to be had
Is there now, or do they throw you at parallel families every so often to try to throw you off track?
They even demonstrated this with the Jerry Daycare.
I'm especially interested in the Evil Morty character and how that all plays out.
Wow, you like the plot that even the writers thought was contrived, that was done purely for the fans once past the first appearance of him as sheer fanservice?
You're part of what's wrong with Rick and Morty.
My favorite episode of recent times would be the fifth episode of season 4. Rattlestar Ricklactica. I won't spoil what it's about, but I love it for it's references.
Does someone saying a bunch of buzzwords really tickle you that much?
Man, you sure like being argumentative a lot.

As stated, the 5th episode of the 4th season. I'm not calling it a godly show. It's not my favorite. I just enjoy watching it.

I don't analyze the series for it's deep hidden message, or entirely what it's trying to portray. I literally went to google typed in "Rick and Morty" went to the wikipedia went to it's "comedic style" and "philosophy" sections saw buzzwords such as "nihilism" and "offensive" then punched them in here to give you a sufficient response.

I'm admitting to you that I put zero effort in trying to express why I enjoy Rick and Morty. I don't feel like discussing the complexities of the show. Maybe that makes me a fool, or ignorant.

Cool, I guess I'm part of what's wrong with Rick and Morty. I enjoyed him becoming head and killing off the council.
I don't know what to tell you to make you happy. I just enjoyed it when he slaughtered the whole room.

I liked the episode for it's reference to Terminator.
Maybe, I'm not expressing myself enough? I don't know. I tried to steer away from the topics all about me, since I'm trying to be more of a community member, but it seems I can't please you. Sorry that I don't have an IQ big enough to converse with you.
Man, you sure like being argumentative a lot.
What, would you prefer I politely disagree with you in my head?

So just that episode, nevermind how the majority of first season was practically raw parody in the form of mashups?
Such a Red Grin Grumbler.

You think basic perception of the plot is "too deep"?
Are you even watching the same show, or are you just laughing at the glowing lights and silly half-intoxicated voice acting?
Are you just giggling to absurdist themes over their presentation? Next thing you'll tell me is that you enjoy laugh tracks.
I literally went to google typed in "Rick and Morty" went to the wikipedia went to it's "comedic style" and "philosophy" sections saw buzzwords such as "nihilism" and "offensive" then punched them in here to give you a sufficient response.
...you don't know what Nihilism is?
Dude... I thought you were into this philosophy nonsense. Are you just cherrypicking and otherwise granting lip service to people who could out-debate you so that you don't have to grow?
Rick and Morty is layman's Nihilism, it barely touches on it at all. It's barely even Post-Modern.

You should be ashamed, why watch something if you aren't really watching it?

It's fine, you can't help it.

...oh my god you have to be doing this on purpose now.
Maybe, I'm not expressing myself enough? I don't know. I tried to steer away from the topics all about me, since I'm trying to be more of a community member, but it seems I can't please you. Sorry that I don't have an IQ big enough to converse with you.
My only message on loop is to pay more attention, the rest of it just goes into sub-clauses and specifics of that general message.
Also, you don't need to make me happy, that's a dumb goal. You should be standing on your own two feet for the sake of personal integrity, not to impress on someone else for the pat on the back.
I blame it on my ability to retain knowledge and possibly critically think has been damaged, plus admtitedly I've been a little annoyed. Dealing with a first world problem, that is of my PC getting delayed by another month, despite waiting a month for it. So that could contribute as to why I just didn't want to bother.
I'll have to re-watch the Rick and Morty episodes.
I'd have to think on it more and try to recall things in order to be able to even say anything.
Perhaps my mind has been decaying and I can't process things as well anymore, and I need to work on that, I'm trying to get back into education to get my mind back in gear, however this pandemic might delay that.
Maybe it could be just acting like I care about other people's opinions on this forum and I made a thread to act sincere. I can tell you, it's different than with my friends. A friend and I watched the 7th season of Clone Wars which wrapped it up recently that Disney made after so long, and we loved the beginning and end of it, we got sick of the middle just for how garbage it was to us, and went to the good part which is Order 66, and was more dark and unsettling.
I'm not really interested in having a deep discussion of what could be going on, I'll try to improve myself.
For the most part, most of what I watch isn't interesting to me
Well yeah, you aren't really watching it, merely glancing your eyes in the direction of the pretty lights and fanciful noises that come out of your media box.
Watching shows takes some amount of processing it, of internalizing what's on the screen. Imagine not doing that when you read a book for instance, that'd be insane.
For real, don't be a Jerry.
I blame it on my ability to retain knowledge and possibly critically think has been damaged
This is an interesting excuse.
What "damaged" it?
plus admtitedly I've been a little annoyed. Dealing with a first world problem, that is of my PC getting delayed by another month, despite waiting a month for it. So that could contribute as to why I just didn't want to bother.
I mean yeah, you tried to portray how you were just here to release pent up garbage in your system, of course you'd be a transference case.
I'll have to re-watch the Rick and Morty episodes.
Only if you want to actually appreciate them.
There's some good stuff in it, even if it's hype is brighter than it's shine, but it seems like you aren't even seeing the good stuff entirely clearly.
I'd have to think on it more and try to recall things in order to be able to even say anything.
How long ago had you seen the earlier seasons, in recency?
You're not one of those kinds of people who re-binges an entire show before a new season comes out, I take it?
Perhaps my mind has been decaying and I can't process things as well anymore, and I need to work on that, I'm trying to get back into education to get my mind back in gear, however this pandemic might delay that.
What are you doing to sharpen your mind in these COVID times?
Maybe it could be just acting like I care about other people's opinions on this forum and I made a thread to act sincere.
So you don't actually want to hear about what other people are watching?
I can tell you, it's different than with my friends.
You can, and do, a lot.
You allude to these other people as your defense for yourself, standing on their collective feet instead of the two you were born with. It's like you don't even know your own perspective's shoe size.
A friend and I watched the 7th season of Clone Wars which wrapped it up recently that Disney made after so long, and we loved the beginning and end of it, we got sick of the middle just for how garbage it was to us, and went to the good part which is Order 66, and was more dark and unsettling.
You didn't earn it then, and likely don't understand a ton of references.
...for the sake of discussion, what is it about the movie "Terminator" that you like? I like the movie, but I suspect over very different criteria.
I'm not really interested in having a deep discussion of what could be going on
No, you don't know how to. There's a difference.
