this sucks, so it seems they are having some success with some anti viral drugs in France. some doctors in the US are trying it out early.

There is no doubt some young people are dying from this. the cytokine storm is the issue. about a week into the disease the body over reacts to the large virus load attacking the lung cells.

Pretty crazy story. My dad has a doctor friend that watched his mom and dad die due to coronavirus, then he died himself. He was an ICU worker at the only lung and heart hospital in Istanbul.

His coworkers said his last words were "you will take care of my two daughters right? they are little". They are collecting donations for his daughters on twitter now but it looks shady. It would be really sad if the money never went to the daughters and they remained homeless.

Then his lungs filled up with fluid in his sleep, and he died.

I heard about a death through friends about someone we know who lost her Father to this, It's not something I can really confirm or deny. Other than that everyone seems to be in tact as far as I know.
