Belgium takes the lead in the grim reaper department, Sweden catching up on Switzerland.  Ireland and USA surpassing Lux in the deaths. Its sad very sad.

Can't wait for round two

Sweden responded to the virus without a ton of hysteria, and in a timely fashion. Here, everyone responded late and then blew things out of proportion because they care about optics, media-fuelled nightmare vision and re-election.

I wonder how all of this will affect businesses. The Zoom app may indicate a new market, and the quarantine probably brought more attention to what you can get done without being in person.

Sweden is getting a fair bit of criticism because they are killing off their old people for economic gain. i.e. not locking down. Thus the meme. So if you want to call this no hysteria, that's fine. If you look at other Scandinavian countries death rates you will see a significant difference. By the numbers, the pandemic is hitting Sweden pretty hard.

Herd immunity takes approximately 50% of the population to get sick and recover, so if this is what they are after they will be killing off many more people.
