Because I'm not a whore like you.

I mean... fashion-wise why not be one if that's your idea of "not a whore" fashion? What's wrong with showing off a little leg, the legs God gave you

I'm going to resist attacking that belt loop idiocy and the color to avoid going off-tangent.

Along the theme of Urban Homesteading, I harvested my herbs today. I Wish I had thought to get a picture of everything I collected before processing- but here is halfway through separating the Parsley.

I harvested a large bunch of Cilantro (Also known as Corriander leaves in other parts of the world) first. I have so much I don't know what to do with it all do i decided to freeze it. I blanched the cilantro first to kill any bacteria that may be on its surface. Some types of decompositing bacteria survive freezing temps and can cause cilantro to be mushy when thawed instead of fresh. After blanching I blended stems and leaves.

Stems of cilantro are just as flavorful, their texture isnt pleasent for foods with fresh cilantro, but they are perfect for cooked dishes. I left half of the fresh leaves in the herb garden, so this frozen bit will just be used for cooked cilantro recipes.

I placed the blended cilantro paste into a small ziplock bag and spread it flat. Once frozen, it will be easy to just break off chunks as needed this way.

Next I harvested the Parsley- also just half of the bushel. Parsley stems like cilantro are full of flavor and great for cooked dishes. I decided I wanted to use these stems for broth so I cut off the leaves before blanching- this is the step which the above photo was taken.

The stems I cut up and set in the freezer until later. The leaves I blanched to kill any potential bacteria, blended, flattened the paste in a ziplock bag, and stuck it in the freezer with the flattened cilantro bag.
