We’re living in the dark ages, convince me I’m wrong

-lords and vassals ruling over the dumb, impoverished workers who serve no other purpose but to work

-control our water, food, medicine, safety

-“off with their head” cancel culture (cancel culture) by media

-news and media gossip

-high levels of Christianity, Catholicism, lutheranism, baptism, etc. a large portion of society centered around god, the Bible, churches- however they dont’ actually *read* the Bible a lot of the time (in medieval days, people didn’t have access to bibles, just the lords did. So they could tell them do whatever they wanted and they’d do it as if it was scripture.)

-politics and religion still mixing to this day. Nothings changed.

-the bubonic plague (cov-19)

-we never have any idea whats really going on with our governments, they’re always fighting with each other and making all sorts of deals but most of us hardly pay any attention. To get real information you really have to dig for it, and, there are still a lot of secrets and interpersonal complications between governmental systems we don’t know about.

-brothels and prostitutes

-if you have nothing to offer large corporations, you’re useless in society and will likely be average or less than average socioeconomic status wise, and financially. with a few given exceptions of musicians.

-people dress dull and boring most of the time, except the extremely wealthy

does none of this ring a bell to you (references history books)

I found a mouse in my house today. Which is what spurred on this line of thought. No i didn’t kill it.

But who the fuck is releasing these cov-19 infected mouses all over the place? PARANOIA CONSPIRACY TIME.

Ya’ll, i don’t know what to do either i can’t fucking find it. I watched it scurry under my laundry hamper (it’s raise off the ground a bit on some wheels) and after that it’s just disappeared into the shadows. Idk where it went.

But ya’ll, my quaruntine has been fucking broken by a mouse and that also begs the question how the fuck did it get in and also that means this quaruntine I’m in might not be effective

the only possibilities is, i brought in a trash can from outside, and when my friend was living here he used to leave the door open a lot to the back because, idk why but he just did a lot. For like hours at a time. So he may of scurried in there but

omg, what if it has diseases like what if my apartment is fucking contaminated

oh well, if i die from the plague, just tell Elon musk that i think we’re in the dark ages and he’s the only one who can save us.

And please tell corona virus to go fuck itself for me. Like, on a t-shirt. I want everyone wearing fuck uyou coronavirus t-shirts at my funeral aright?

Fuck you

Use the glue mousetrap, and if you want it to live check the trap often.

When you find the rodent squealing in terror, you take it outside and douse it with warm water.

There are other ways to catch them unharmed but I don't see you going out of your way.

I think he came in the door my friend left open a lot

because he keeps running back to that door, realizing it’s closed and then runs back to his hiding spot in my closet

I think if I just leave the door open he will go out of it soon enough but I have to make sure not to scare him

when he comes out to check out his door, sometimes I move to see him closer and that scares him back into hiding in a nearby closet

The movements are very direct like he is most definately

going straight to that door not looking for food or anything so

I think he wants to get out?

I most definitely won’t be setting any traps I’m sorry. I would much rather just catch and release but he’s too fast... um.

yeah if the door method doesn’t work, like just leaving it open

and I still see him then I will draw up another plan...

he seems pretty harmless like it’s not even a big disgusting rat it’s a tiny little cute mouse like the ones people have as pets

it’s kinda cute lol

This is just how things have always been. Why is this how you define the dark ages? We have made incredible technological, medical, and political advancements and I don't think the times are similar at all.

For example in the dark ages you as an adult woman couldn't survive without a job. you would be milking cows or sold as a prostitute, not living in your cushy apartment

Sc is pretty boring.
