It's the Taxi Driver of our time!
This movie's great, but many of the people I'd want to recommend it to are too rigidly stuck in today's politics to see it for more than that.I haven't seen taxi driver so I don't think I can agree, and yeah. Someone got hurt feelings over watching this so it's definitely not a film for everyone
Someone from the forum or a real person?
Uh...are..are people from the forum not real?
Did I log into the wrong simulation?
Sooo... it was a forum person? What is there even for one of our lot to be offended over?
You're really out here playing passive aggressive mice games because I called that movie out for the leftist propaganda that it is
I didn't see you do it and could imagine others here doing it just as quickly. I wasn't at the movie night or whatever, and with your general lack of involvement here lately it's easy to assume that you weren't there.
I still think it's silly to look at this movie only for it's political parallels. That was at lena but hey if the shoe fits
Also the movie is filled with political sentiment. Every aspect of the main character is drenched in politics.
So are tons of other movies, but there's a lot more to the movie than just that.
It's not like it's just a display of mockable right-leaning archetypes or something.
It takes something special to be this politically blatant especially in this time. The entirety of the main character is exactly that what do you mean.
