the coronavirus is not as deadly as we think (during every outbreak start the death rates are up and it falls down as less vulnerable groups become infected, its mostly the elderly and sick that die in Wuhan now)

what makes ncov-2019 (the wuhan coronavirus) so novel and different is its superior ability to replicate and transmit from human to human compared to the other coronaviruses:

the length of the tail of this genome (called poly-As) is unnaturally long compared to other coronaviruses, , the location of the wuhan virology institute, and Hong Kongs refusal to close all borders with China all lead me to strong suspicions that this virus is actually the SARS virus that was modified to improve spread from human to human, tho i have no proof obv

What seems more likely to me is that this virus simply escaped the lab due to bad practices as it happened before (article from 2004)

they should be forced to be barred from virology studies as they have been irresponsible and almost restarted the SARS outbreak.

Apparently that article on it being man made is sensationalism. The Hiv commonalities are very small and naturally occur within many other viruses. 

 I usually go with the opposite of what media says. if they say its sensationalism I suspect that its not, and if they sensationalize it i consider it to be trivial/conspiracy.

In regards to Corona, if I get it, I guess I'll just get it, but it seems to only be killing young and old. I can't say I'm deeply afraid of it.

It's not much different from the flu in this aspect, get medical treatment and you're fine

It has no cure in the same way the flu or common cold has no cure. 

America has the best quarantine and medical treatment in history. That's why we are working closely with China to help them out

The only thing of concern is the new variety of the virus that we know less about, could be worse, could be as easily treated 

To clarify about my post, when I said young, I'm referring to like babies, not like healthy people in their 20s. I can't say I'm that concerned about it.

WW1 Aesthetic is also a favorite of mine. 

 I'd consider their sheer grit and will something admirable and something I'd aspire to be like. I'd even like to create something like the Death Korps if ever. I'd probably make them like the Dare-To-Die Corps from the KMT back in WW2.

Rough Update:

• CCP is still hiding numbers. Again they were quick to publish the genetic sequence but they didnt learn from last time (which was only 16 years ago!) and thought they could hide it or keep it secret somehow???
