Gun or blunt object homicide. Destruction of property and life via explosives or fire. Rape pre or post mortem. Psychological torture

I'd likely not be the one to snitch, but I also would likely distance myself more. 

Getting involved for or against the one doing this stuff's going to carry the heft of a lot of weight.

It'd have to be something being done to me or those I care about, and even then it'd depend on the level of risk in the decisions being made. 

"Snitches get stitches", and if you're why they were put away they will likely remember you when they get out.

probably not, it's not safe. 

like my sister moved into a new house and we found bullet shells buried in the yard in a special labelled envelope that was labelled police evidence. 

and my sister was thinking about bringing it to the police and I was like woah woah woah- think about what you're getting yourself into. 

and the evidence was destroyed.

I feel like people don't just burn golf carts for no reason unless they are a pyromaniac I suppose. but you seem like the type of person who doesn't do a lot of things for no reason. 

Depends on the crime. My neighbor has someone basically captive.... yup I reported that. Unfortunately he seems to have vanished, I guess he sensed something was going on. Or they could all be dead. Either way, he doesn't bug me anymore and he never should have. Personal grudges plus crimes toward women... yes that will get you reported.

In my opinion, stay the fuck out of it, and stay the fuck away from it.

Yes if I like the victim/object of the crime
Yes if it involves children
Yes if you brag about it here
