Even so, you have similar struggles, so it's kind of a moot point when both you and I struggle similarly in those areas.
Still, you're likely meaning because of a lack of spiritual escapism present in my life... as projection over imagining yourself unable to "see" spiritual phenomenon. In that train of thought, what's so bad about my life? What would the benefit be in believing in spiritual stuff instead of just studying it as a fun hobby?
