I was down range at the 200 yard line of Inchon Rifle Range, Parris Island SC on 9/11... I was a Sgt... a Primary Marksmanship Instructor with a platoon of 60+ young men in trusted to me for teaching how to shoot the M16... What I think today about that day is very different than how I feel today about that day...
I think the change in my social environment plays a part in the change in my way of thinking... yes...
The epiphany has just as much of a chance of being false as said former behaviors perceived legitimacy.
I always have to remind myself that the initial assumptions came from somewhere, as usually if I begin to doubt my own past or behaviors... that's the symptomatic prelude for unstable future ones. Not saying that this is your case, but there is room to doubt anything and everything when you're your only point of reference.
