Something really weird happened today... I think I have made it known I really enjoy the beach... It was a very gorgeous day on the Crystal Coast... and as the tide reached it's peak the shore break was just right for some boogie boarding...
After a few attempts to the right, I ventured the left of the face and had fun with a mini-barrel and a few 360's... I had noticed a few young people trying to catch a wave on a couple body-boards and after one of my decent rides... one of the young lads came over to ask if I would coach his crew...
I was honored...
Turns out it was a half dozen of soon to be high school seniors enjoying their last weekend... 4 dudes.. 2 young ladies... all 16... 17
One of the young ladies was rather good at body-boarding and she and I hit it off...
I instructed her on timing to catch the wave, steering the nose... she was more receptive than the others... she is a 17 year old goddess... blessed in all physical matters, and gifted with a sweet disposition, gathered with an exuberance for life rarely seen... torture to a man given to flesh...
After 30 or 40 minutes of instruction with the young woman and her friends... I walked up to the community pool... not my community, I'm a guest...
The young lady stopped by the pool and spent another 15 minutes or so swimming and talking with me of her future plans... she left me with her phone number...
This young woman is amazing inside and out... I'm drinking heavily now... gonna be a long weekend...
